Guidelines & Compliance

Information Security

avodaq processes sensitive information with a special focus on data and information security. We are also a member of the German Cyber Security Association and the Alliance for Cyber Security.

ISO/IEC 27001

We are certified by TÜV Rheinland in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001, the world’s most recognised and important international security standard.

The certification demonstrates our responsible handling of information and data and the application of the associated obligations towards customers, contractual partners, service providers, authorities and other third parties. The measures introduced are continuously monitored, checked for effectiveness and improved by an information security management system (ISMS). GDPR (DSGVO)

We protect your data. When processing your data, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR applies in the European Union and the European Economic Area. How does avodaq achieve GDPR compliance?

There are processes and controls in place for the collection and extensive internal procedures for the processing of personal data. The Data Protection Officer monitors compliance. In addition, retention periods are adhered to and documented. Our privacy policy and general terms and conditions are also up to date and comply with the requirements of the GDPR. In addition, all employees receive regular training in the areas of data protection and information security. Security Operations Center (SOC)

Cybercrime – High innovation speed in a complex ecosystem. avodaq uses its own Security Operations Centre (SOC) to implement regular control mechanisms.

Cybercrime is a professional business and the number of media reports about successful attacks is constantly increasing. We have developed the avodaq Incident Detection & Response (IDR) service to ensure protection and compliance with legal regulations. It enables our security experts to recognise, investigate and effectively defend against cyber threats and security incidents. All information from the IT infrastructure is collected on a centralised Extended Detection & Response (XDR) platform and the results are made available in the form of case-related recommendations for action.

In this way, we protect ourselves and ensure that our customers’ data is not endangered. In addition, we offer our solution as a service to support you in responding to and resolving security incidents and implementing necessary changes through structured escalation and communication management.
